piSOFTGRIP® 30-3 for the Food and Chocolate Industry
by Airoyal Company on 09/01/20
The vacuum-based soft gripper will grip sensitive and
lightweight objects of odd geometries and/or an unusual surface.
Piab piSOFTGRIP® has three gripping fingers and a sealed
vacuum cavity, all made in one piece, resulting in a simple and robust product.
The product is not sensitive to dust and the gripping force is easily adjusted
and controlled by the applied vacuum level.
Food approved
Piab piSOFTGRIP® is made in detectable silicone approved for direct contact with food (in accordance with FDA 21 CFR and EU 1935/2004 regulations). The food compliant silicone gripper enables the food/chocolate industry to extend their automated food handling to include a wider range of products.
Delicate food items and chocolate pralines can be handled without
risk of being spoiled due to crushing. Wash-down fitting options as well as a
sealed vacuum cavity make it easy to clean and keep functioning in challenging
environments.
Easy to use, control and clean
The soft gripping vacuum tool is as easy to control and
install as a suction cup. You can also easily use it in multimode applications,
putting several piSOFTGRIP® in rows or other grid structures, supporting the
picks you want to make.
Great gripping solution for small and sensitive objects
The piSOFTGRIP® is an excellent and cost-effective solution
for sensitive and difficult to grip objects. The gripping force can easily be
controlled by simply adjusting the vacuum level.

The Best Cylinders for Today’s Automation Equipment
by Airoyal Company on 08/24/20
Nason L20 Series Hydraulic Cylinders
Nason L20 series cylinders were designed with today’s
automation equipment in mind. They offer more power in a smaller package than
comparable NFPA style hydraulic cylinders without sacrificing performance. View video here.
Compact Size
Nason’s L20 Series 2000 PSI Hydraulic Cylinders were
designed to offer compact, long-lasting performance for today’s most demanding
applications. The L20 Series is available in both single and double rod
configurations, with inch or metric mounting and porting.
Common Features
Nason’s L20 series hydraulic actuators were designed to be compact, long-lasting devices for today’s demanding design requirements. They are offered in single and double rod configurations with inch or metric mounting and ports.
Rugged Construction
The L20 series incorporates thick-walled, anodized
aluminum housing. The rods are chrome-plated 1050 steel riding in electroless
nickel-plated ductile cast iron rod bearings. The piston on non-magnetic models
is ductile cast iron with wear rings standard. The optional magnetic piston is
manufactured from a high-strength aluminum. Rod wipers are standard on all
models.
Versatile Design
The L20 series cylinders are metric in design (bore and rod
sizes). They are offered in inch or metric mounting and porting. Due to their 100%
machined design, they are easily customized by Nason.
Rebuildable
All L20 series cylinders are field-rebuildable.
